Generate and Send License Reference Key

You can obtain a license package from Licensing by first generating a reference key and emailing it to them.

Open License Manager.
Click on the License Management menu (second menu).
Select Reference Key, then click New.
Click Yes on the first warning message.
Click Continue on the second warning message.
When the Save New Reference Key window appears, choose to save the file to your Desktop.
In the File name field, name the file after your clinic’s phone number (for example: 1234567890).
Click Open (this will save the file).
Email the saved file as an attachment to eMD.licensing@cgm.com:
Subject: License Activation for (Clinic Name)
Body: Include:
Clinic name
Clinic phone number
Number of providers
Contact name
Licensing typically responds within 24 hours (often sooner) with a new activation package.

Install the Activation Package

Once Licensing sends you the activation package, install it:

Open License Manager.
Click the License Management menu (second menu).
Select Activate Installation (activate new license).
Navigate to the latest activation package file you received via email.
Select the file and click OK.
Confirm the popup message indicating the license was applied correctly and note the new expiration date.
