Platform
New MFA Option Email Code With New Registration
We now provide second method for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in the CGM PORTAL. Instead of using the authorization via Authenticator App, you could now verify your identity using an email code.
Key Features and Updates:
- New Registration Options: When users register, they can choose between verification via email code or the existing app-based verification.
- Switching Verification Methods: If MFA is already activated using the app-based verification, you can change your verification method to email code. Please note that the existing MFA method must first be removed before switching the authentication method.
- Email Code as Minimum Standard: Verification via email code is now the minimum standard for MFA. For higher security, we recommend using the app-based verification method.
Maintenance of Academic Title
Since a previous release, we display the Academic Title of our users on the Dashboard and on the Contacts overview page, provided that an Academic Title is maintained.
With this release, you can now maintain your Academic Title yourself via the My Profile menu (Personal & Organizational Details tab → Personal Information section), or when creating a new contact.
Note: Updating the academic title for another already existing user is not possible.

Display of Account Name Optimized
We have optimized the format how company names are displayed for better readability.
Company Name 1 and Name 2 are now displayed in one line.
If a Name 3 for a company is maintained, it will be displayed below in smaller format.
This format applies across all sections, including the Support Wizard, and Order/Quote Wizard.
Invoice Enhancements
We have enhanced the invoice functionality as follows:
- Additional information on invoices:
- Seller (name of company that belongs to the invoice, e.g. CGM Deutschland AG)
- Invoice Type
- Additional status (Cancelled)
- Due Date
- Reference Number
- Total Gross value
- Support for Cancelled Invoices and Credit Memos
- Additional search option to support the search for the Seller name
- Additional filter options:
- Creation Year
- Invoice Type

KNOWLEDGE
Files Section Collapsed By Default
To enhance your user experience and help create a cleaner and more organized article view, the "Files related to this article" section at the bottom of Knowledge Base articles will now be collapsed by default.
When you view an article which contains attached files (such as images), the section will be minimized, and can be expanded if needed.
If no files are attached to an article, the section is not displayed.

IDEA SPACE
Idea Space Menu Implemented
A new menu called "Idea Space" is now available for you. This menu shall enable you to
- submit your own ideas
- share your ideas
- vote on ideas submitted by others
- comment on your own ideas or on ideas submitted by others
- receive notifications about changes via email or on the dashboard.
The ideas can be created and organized by individual products.
The dashboard of the Idea Space shows the 10 latest ideas, sorted by update date, considering both new and commented ideas.
The list of ideas can be searched, filtered, and sorted.
The CGM Product Management
- will use the voting count to identify the most popular ideas among customers and
- can assign specific labels to ideas based on the implementation status, e.g. New idea, Current functionality, In Development.
Note: The IDEA SPACE menu has already been activated for the CGM PORTAL as a product. In the upcoming weeks, we will activate it for further CGM products.

Bug Fixes
In addition to the enhancements mentioned above, we have resolved the following issues to improve your user experience:

- We have fixed an issue where customer admins could not update the role of other users.
SUPPORT
- We have fixed an issue with the case creation form search.
- We have fixed an issue where the attachment and description of a case was lost after going back to the creation form from preview.
