Creating a new Lead
To create a new Lead in the CGM PORTAL, proceed as follows:
1. Navigate to the MYORG menu item via the left main navigation.
2. On the Leads tab, click on the "Create Lead" button.

3. On the Account Details page, you can use the toggle button "Switch the toggle if you want to use an existing customer". This option is OFF by default.
Below, the system displays the "Business Details". If the toggle "Use Existing Customer" is ON, the system shows an "Account" dropdown listing all customer accounts that belong to you as a partner.
Once an Account is selected, the account information is pre-filled in the "Account Details" fields and displayed as read-only.
Note: If the "Use Existing Customer" toggle is off, you need to manually fill in all mandatory fields before submitting the Lead.

4. On the Address Details page ("Use Existing Customer" toggle was ON in previous step), the address information for the selected customer account is pre-filled and displayed as read-only.
Note: "State / Province" fields are optional.
If the "Use Existing Customer" toggle was set to OFF in the first step, you can manually enter the address details.
5. On the "Preview" page, ensure that all data entered into the form is correctly displayed.

6. On the Main Contact Details page, you can select an existing contact that belongs to the selected account.
The contact's information is pre-filled in the contact fields and displayed as read-only.
The system prompts you to enter a Lead Description and a Note.
Once all mandatory fields are maintained, you can submit the Lead.
Note: The Lead submission is already possible before the preview (as in Support Wizard).

7. On the Lead Details page, you need to enter a description and a note for the Lead.
It is also possible to go back to the previous step.
Once the Description and Note fields are maintained, the additional buttons become active and you can
- submit the Lead
- preview the Lead summary

Upon clicking the "Submit Lead" button at the top on the right side, the Lead is submitted.
If the Lead was created successfully, you can navigate to the Lead Details or View All Leads (navigates to the Leads tab in the MYORG menu).
If the Lead creation failed, the system shows an error message: "The Lead creation failed! Please try again or contact an administrator!"
