Purpose:  To provide customers with a script that reduces the message that a transcript does not consist of an interaction between a medical provider and a patient.

PROBLEM:

Gender in the CCD shows as unknown when the patient’s sexual orientation is entered. CPT codes with letters are not added to the Procedure section on the CCD.

SCRIPT DESCRIPTION:

This script will correct the gender to show the entry selected in the patient’s demographics for Gender. This script will also allow all CPT and HPCPCS codes to appear in the Procedure section if the first 5 characters also match a valid CPT or HCPCS in the eMDs content tables.

COMPATIBLE VERSIONS:

Must be on CGM eMDs 10.1.2701 or newer.
