Revenue Management Updates

Have the customer open a web browser and type in the following URL:

·         http://www.sendclaim.com/RMUpdate2925/Patch.ts4

The browser should notify that a file is ready to be downloaded. Click “SAVE AS” and save the patch.ts4 file in the customer’s RCM folder (Under C:\Medisoft\Bin or C:\Program Files (x86)\Lytec 201X).

After downloading the patch.ts4 file, browse to the customer’s RCM folder where the file was saved and rename the patch.ts4 file to “patch.exe” and double-click to run the update (If there is already a patch.exe file in the RCM folder, you will have to delete it as Windows won’t allow you to have two files named the same). The patch.exe file updates contents in the customer’s RCM folder.

RM CCpatch.exe (Claims editor with version stamp 4.2015XXXX)

The browser should notify that a file is ready to be downloaded. Click “SAVE AS” and save the CCpatch.ts4 file in the customer’s RCM folder (Under C:\Medisoft\Bin or C:\Program Files (x86)\Lytec 201X).

After downloading the CCpatch.ts4 file, browse to the customer’s RCM folder where the file was saved and rename the CCpatch.ts4 file to “CCpatch.exe” and double-click to run the update (If there is already a CCpatch.exe file in the RCM folder, you will have to delete it as Windows won’t allow you to have two files named the same). The CCpatch.exe file updates contents in the customer’s RMData\MCD.Update folder. The next time the customer opens RM, it will prompt them that new claim edits are available for a specific date and they have the option to install these new edits; click “YES” to allow the claim edits to install (RMData\CM4.MCD folder) to complete the process.
