Creating an idea
To create and submit a new idea, click on the "Create Idea" button at the top on the left side of the Idea Space dashboard. This option is also available on the Idea List page (button "Create Idea").

1. On the creation page, enter or select the required information:
| Product |
mandatory, must be selected before the (Sub)Category field is available The system will provide the products you are using and/or the CGM PORTAL. |
| (Sub)Category | optional, based on the selected product (main category) |
| Headline | mandatory, title of your idea |
| Description | mandatory, description of your idea |
| Impact | mandatory, impact that the missing improvement would have for the end user |
| Business benefit | mandatory, expected business benefit delivering the improvement would have |
| Attachments | optional, allows upload of up to 3 files (e.g. PDF, JPEG) with a max. file size of 10MB per file |

2. Once you have maintained all information, you can either Preview your idea before submitting it, or submit it directly by clicking the "Create Idea" button.
3. Once submitted, you can either "View your Idea" (navigates to the Idea Details page) or to "Go to Dashboard".
Idea Details Page:

The system will automatically assign one vote for the idea from the user who created the idea.
My Ideas section
All ideas that you have created and submitted will be available in the "My Ideas" section.
To view the list of your ideas, navigate to the Idea Space dashboard and click on "My Ideas".

On the "My Ideas" page, the "My Ideas" tab lists all your submitted ideas.
You can change the number of entries that should be shown per page and you can sort the list based on the creation date.
